This standard specifies terms and definitions, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage of shower outlets for bathing (hereinafter referred to as shower).
This standard is applicable to the shower that operates under the condition that dynamic pressure is 0.05MPa~0.5MPa and water temperature is not greater than 70℃.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Shower
A device through which water may outflow in the form of droplets or jets for bathing purposes
Note: a showerhead, a fixed or pivot handle or flexible hose, a flow controller, or other components may be included. Generally, the shower may be classified into hand-held shower and head shower.
3.2
Shower outlet
A component through which water may outflow in the form of jets or water droplets
3.3
Spray plate
A component by which water may outflow in the form of jets or water droplets through the outlet
