This part of GB/T 28046 describes the potential chemical loads and specifies tests and requirements recommended for the specific mounting location of systems/components on/in the vehicle.
This part applies to electrical and electronic systems/components for vehicles.
It does not apply to an electrical/electronic system/component in continuous contact with an chemical agent (such as a fuel pump immersed continuously in fuel).

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28046.1 apply.
4 Tests
4.1 General
Electrical and electronic systems/components shall be resistant to the specified chemical load test, i.e., there is no change in properties over the time and at the temperature of the test specified. If the test report proves that the electrical and electronic system/component is immune to the chemical load it is exposed to, it may be exempted from the test.
