This standard specifies the proton exchange membrane fuel cell modules for road vehicles with regards to requirements, test equipment, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard is applicable to proton exchange membrane fuel cell modules for road vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "modules").

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28816 and the following apply.

road vehicles
motor vehicle and trailers driving on the road by at least four wheels, which mainly include commercial vehicle and passenger car, including agriculture truck and other road transport machinery and trailers. Those vehicle driving on the track and engine-driven machinery and tractors used for non-road purposes, such as agriculture, forestry and engineering are not included as road vehicle.
