This standard specifies the dimension, shape, mass and tolerance of cold-drawn round, square and hexagonal steel wires.
This standard is applicable to cold-drawn round steel wires with a diameter of 0.05mm~20mm, cold-drawn square steel wires with an edge length of 0.50mm~10mm and cold-drawn hexagonal steel wires with a distance across flat of 1.60mm~10mm.
