This standard specifies the principle, test apparatus, specimen, test procedures, test result and test report of hardness determination of reinforced plastics by means of a Barcol impresser.
This standard is applicable to the determination of Barcol hardness of reinforced plastic and its products; the Barcol hardness of non-reinforced plastic and its products may also refer to; but not to those materials with the Barcol hardness less than 20.
