This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order information, classification and designation, dimension, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging , marking and quality certificate for stainless steel wires.
This standard is applicable to stainless steel wires (hereinafter referred to as steel wires), but excluding stainless steel wires for cold heading, cold forging and welding, and stainless steel spring wires of austenitic type and PH type.
