3 Method Summary
As specified, put the coal sample into the coal cup, arrange the cup on tailor-made electric stove to be heated unilaterally, temperature rise at specified speed and the coal sample forms such three isothermal layers as semi-coke layer, plastometric layer and non-tenderized coal sample. Measure the maximum thickness Y of colloid with probe, and final shrinkage degree X from the test volume curve.
4 Instruments and Equipment
4.1 Double-cup plastometric determinator: one type is provided with poising nut (See Figure 1) and the other without poising nut (all the other structure is the same as in Figure 1 except the poising nut).
