This part of GB/T 5169 specifies the details of the glow-wire test to be applied to end-products for fire hazard testing.
For the purpose of this standard, end-product means electrotechnical equipment, its subassemblies, and components.
One of the responsibilities of a technical committee for standardization, wherever applicable, to make use of basic safety publications in the preparation of its publications.
