1 Scope
This standard specifies both the fundamental and common technical requirements of metal cutting machine tool (hereinafter referred to as machine tool, including modular machine tool and machine tool accessories).
This standard is applicable to machine tool’s design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance. According to service performance and construction, different kinds of machine tools may compile corresponding product-technology standard, and make supplements to technology index, evaluation methods and inspection projects.
2 Normative ReferencesThe following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated reference, subsequent corrections to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents is applicable.
