This standard specifies the method to test the hardness of cellular for shoes with durometer.
It is applicable to the determination of hardness of cellular for shoes whose stress is above 0.049 MPa at the compression ratio of 50%.

3 Principle
The hardness of cellular for shoes is determined by pressing the hemispherical steel indenter into the sample surface under the action of specified test force, and when the indenter foot plane fit closely with the sample surface, measuring the pressed depth of indenter which is then converted to a value to represent the hardness of cellular for shoes.
