This standard specifies painting colors of pipelines and equipments as well as steel structures in the oil-gas field and pipe work for facilitating production operation, management and overhaul, reducing the misoperation and being benefit to safe production.
This standard is applicable to painting colors and marks of pipelines, equipments and steel structures of newly-built, renovated or expanded projects of oil-gas field surface engineering and pipe work.
This standard is not applicable to oil refinery and chemical plants.
