This standard specifies system structure, monitoring content, system function and technical requirements of microcomputer monitoring system in railway signaling equipment.
This standard applies to design and manufacture of microcomputer monitoring system in electric interlocking and section blocking equipment and shall be used in project construction and acceptance for reference. This standard shall also be used in monitoring system of new computer interlocking for reference.

3 General
3.1 Signal microcomputer monitoring system (hereinafter referred to as monitoring system) is an important train operation equipment to ensure train operation safety and strengthen signal equipment joint section management and monitor operation quality of railway signaling equipment.
3.2 The monitoring system shall be able to monitor main electrical performance of signal equipment and timely alarm while the electrical properties deviate from scheduled limit.
3.3 The monitoring system shall be able to timely record unusual condition of monitored objects and have fault diagnosis capacity.
3.4 The monitoring system shall be able to supervise signal equipment states with regards to electric power, train operation and engineering work joint section.
