This standard specifies the limits of electromagnetic disturbance generated by telecommunication power equipment (hereinafter referred to as "TPE", excluding electric generator and battery) and its requirements for immunity as well as the measurement methods for electromagnetic disturbance and immunity.
This standard is applicable to the power equipment of telecommunication switching equipment, telecommunication transmission equipment, telecommunication terminal equipment and wireless telecommunication equipment, and may be adopted as a basis for the design, manufacture, application and quality inspection of TPE.
