This Standard specifies general requirements of police digital trunking (PDT) communication system as follows: the technical characteristics, system constitution and functional requirements, working frequency band, address and identity, network management, basic performance index of channel equipment, AC power supply system, information security and confidentiality, environmental and eletro-magnetic compatibility, and reliability.
This standard is applicable to overall planning, network design, equipment development, production, project construction and acceptance of PDT communication system.
