This standard specifies the basic requirements, acceptance criteria and quality assurance of waste acceptance for near surface disposal of low and intermediate level solid radioactive waste (hereinafter referred to as "waste").
This standard is applicable to all wastes transmitting to near surface disposal plant, which mainly including the waste generated by nuclear power plant, nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear facilities retirement. The waste generated in radioisotope produce and application shall also comply with this standard.
