1.0.2 This provision is applicable to the work of instrumentation in each stage of design, procurement, construction, starting, assessment and acceptance as well as design control, foundation works and technical development.
1.0.3 During the implementation of this provision, the provisions of current relevant national standard shall be conformed too.

2.2 Engineering Quotation
2.2.1 At the engineering quotation stage, the instrumentation is in charge of studying out the following work:
1 Control scheme;
2 Design principles, accepted standard and regulation;
3 Instrument selection;
4 Assist the budget estimate profession to estimate equipment cost and material expenses;
5 Estimation of work amount and cost of design and installation;
6 Propose compile conditions of engineering quotation to relevant professions.
2.2.2 Accomplish the engineering quotation records on this profession.
3 Project Introducing
3.0.1 At the introducing project stage, the instrumentation is in charge of the following work:
1 Take part in the technical exchange with foreign businessman;
2 Take charge of the negotiation on the technical Appendix of contract. Propose terms of design principles, supply scope, batch delivery of equipment, design division and design document, discuss the name list of supply manufacturer recommended by foreign side;
3 Take part in the work of design communication, equipment check and design audit;
4 Take part in the work of cooperative design, returned bag design and DCS software configuration.
