3 Technical Requirements
3.1 Surface treatment of steel parts and iron and steel castings
Prior to painting, grease, rust stain, oxide skin, rolling mill scale, etc., shall be cleaned away from the surfaces of steel parts and iron and steel castings.
For the convenience of painting protective primer, purchased steel plates acid pickled shall also be subject to such treatment.
